From T. camphoratus, we isolate an active fraction (HS7) that simultaneously inhibits the signaling pathways (AKT-mTOR, ERK and STAT3) and induces CDK inhibitors (p15, p21 and p27) in EGFR TKI resistant CL1-0 NSCLC cells, resulting in growth inhibition and apoptosis induction (Fig. 9). Here, MTOR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
