So far, some other findings stand on their own, but highlight the potential for PKMYT1 inhibition in cancer therapy: PKMYT1 was upregulated by more than 10-fold in seven tested ovarian cancer cell lines [94]; and gastric cancer cells were found to overexpress PKMYT1 in response to the α-emitter Bi213 prior to cell death [95].
