In the present study, CD147 overexpression was found in gastric cancer, and positively correlated with tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, or TNM staging, in line with the results form bladder urothelial carcinoma, laryngeal carcinoma, thyroid cancer, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, glioma, and tongue squamous cell carcinoma [53–59]. This evidence concerns the gene BSG and gastric cancer.
