Here we focussed on NF-κB-driven cFLIP expression because it is common in many cancers [21, 38] Indeed, the NF-κB inhibitor, EF24 elicited cFLIP downregulation in primary thymoma TECs and 1889 thymic carcinoma cells [13] (Figure 4A and Supplementary Figure 6A) and sensitized them to TNFα induced cell death (Figure 4B and 4C and Supplementary Figure 6B and 6C).
