In conclusion, we first demonstrated that ISL significantly alleviated LPS-induced ALI in mice and that the mechanisms underlying this protective effect might include the restriction of oxidative damage and inflammatory injury, which was derived from the activation of AMPK/Nrf2/ARE signaling and the inhibition of the NF-κB and NLRP3 pathways. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is acute respiratory distress syndrome.
