In a previous study looking at TNFR2+ Tregs from ovarian cancer ascites, Govindaraj and colleagues observed that TNFR2+ Tregs extracted from ascites express higher levels of immunosuppressive molecules CTLA-4 and GARP, and are functionally more suppressive when compared to peripheral blood TNFR2+ Tregs (18). Here, TNFRSF1B is linked to ovarian cancer.
