A notable accumulation of radioactivity was found in the “faeces-removed” tumoural caecum (15.8 ± 5.5 and 18.5 ± 8.5 %ID/g at 4 h and 8 h, respectively), but this radioactivity uptake was not significantly different from that of the two controls (99mTc-irrelevant pIgA-SH: 16.7 ± 6.9 and 11.5 ± 6.5 %ID/g; nude mouse control: 7.9 ± 2.5 and 19.9 ± 1.4 %ID/g).
