By crossing the Mapk11 knockouts to the HD mice for several generations, we obtained both Mapk11 heterozygous (Mapk11+/−) and homozygous (Mapk11−/−) knockouts and related controls (Mapk11+/+) in both the HD (HdhQ140/Q140) and WT (HdhQ7/Q7) backgrounds. Here, MAPK11 is linked to Huntington disease.
