However, in this study, we demonstrated that the levels of miR‐34b‐5p were progressively up‐regulated during ALI and that the miR‐34b‐5p knockdown alleviated caspase‐3 activation and suppressed apoptosis, implying that the protective effects of miR‐34b‐5p inhibition may be associated with relieving LPS‐induced PGRN suppression. This evidence concerns the gene GRN and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
