Zhang et al. reported that expression of miR-21 and lncRNA GAS5 (growth arrest-specific 5) is negatively correlated in breast cancer and that miR-21 binds a miR-21-binding site in exon 4 of GAS5, thus inducing AGO2-mediated suppression of GAS5 [104]. This evidence concerns the gene GAS5 and breast carcinoma.
