CIP2A and lip and oral cavity carcinoma: The negative correlation found between miR-375 and c-Myc mRNA expression was previously observed in a functional study of oral cancer [31], and the authors concluded that miR-375 indirectly affects c-Myc expression by regulating expression of the Cancerous Inhibitor of PP2A (CIP2A), which stabilizes c-Myc and prevents its degradation.
