To date, high TACC3 expression has been shown to be associated with poor prognosis in several cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer [10, 11], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma [12], hepatocellular carcinoma [13, 14], gastric cancer [15], colorectal cancer [16], breast cancer [17], and cholangiocarcinoma [18]. The gene discussed is TACC3; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
