Given the observation that miR-17-5p was down-regulated in TNBC cell lines and clinical tumour tissues in contrast to ETV1, we speculated that up-regulation of miR-17-5p would suppress triple-negative breast tumour cell oncogenic activity by targeting ETV1 and dysregulation of miR-17-5p would be associated with the prognosis of TNBC patients.
