Urothelial cancer associated 1 (UCA1), initially discovered in bladder cancer and located at chromosome 19p13.12, contributes to cancer development via regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion in diverse tumors, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC), and so on 9.
