We evaluated the effects of SE175 in pregnant wild-type C57BL/6J mice and in endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS-/-) knockout mice, which exhibit pre-pregnancy hypertension and a compromised adaptive cardiovascular response to pregnancy: uterine artery remodeling is impaired 32,33 and uteroplacental perfusion is reduced 34. Here, NOS3 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
