Six of the 13 (46%) infection-responsive immune-related genes are putatively linked to the Toll pathway, including Leucine rich repeat (LRRs)-containing proteins, clip-domain serine proteases (CLIPBs), myeloid differentiation 2-related lipid recognition protein (ML) receptors (MD2-like) and cecropin E (CECE) (Xi et al., 2008; Jupatanakul et al., 2014). The gene discussed is TLR4; the disease is infection.
