Patients in LT group were characterized by older age, higher systolic blood pressure, advanced New York Heart Association (NYHA) class, lower left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), lager left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD), decreased hemoglobin, decreased estimated glomerular filtration rate (GFR), increased serum B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) level, and higher prevalence of etiology(ischemic vs. no ischemic) and comorbidities (atrial fibrillation, hypertension and diabetes). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hypertensive disorder.
