Western blot analysis, which revealed the decreased level of cytosolic β-catenin protein after the FZD8 shRNA-1 and FZD8 shRNA-2 were transfected as compared with control shRNA-expressing control cells (Figure 3), indicated that FZD8 function as a positive regulator of the canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in RCC cells.
