Among the 150 specimens, ERp29 staining was detected positive in 40 % (30 out of 75) of the gastric cancer compared with 88 % (66 out of 75) of adjacent non-tumor tissues, indicating that ERp29 expression in gastric carcinoma was lower than adjacent non-tumor tissues (Figure 1B, ***P<0.001). This evidence concerns the gene ERP29 and gastric carcinoma.
