These agents include imatinib and ponatinib, which inhibit BCR-ABL tyrosine-kinase and are used to treat chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) [31, 32]; gefitinib, erlotinib, and afatinib, which inhibit epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase and are used to treat lung cancer [33]; and trastuzumab, an anti-HER2 antibody, which is used to treat breast cancer [34].
