Recently, Lehmann et al. identified at least 6 different molecular subtypes of TNBC through gene expression profiles (GEP) of 21 data sets of breast cancer, including two basal-like (BL1 and BL2), an immunomodulatory (IM), a mesenchymal (M), a mesenchymal stem cell-like (MSL), and a luminal androgen receptor (LAR) [21]. The gene discussed is AR; the disease is breast cancer.
