With an interest in the correlation of CTLA-4 rs733618 T>C polymorphism with cancer susceptibility, a case-control study explored the hypothesis that CTLA-4 rs733618 T>C polymorphism was associated with the etiology of NSCLC [10]; however, this study in an Iranian population established null association between CTLA-4 rs733618 T>C polymorphism and NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene CTLA4 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
