Consistent with the increased cell viability in breast cancer cells, pretreatment with WDR7-7 shRNA significantly triggered the up-regulation of GPR30 and the phosphorylation of SRC and EGFR and subsequently increased the phosphorylation levels of ERK1/2 and Akt in all four breast cancer cells (p < 0.05; Fig. 4a-f). This evidence concerns the gene MAPK3 and breast carcinoma.
