PcMab-47 has been useful for investigations of podocalyxin expression and function in cancers and normal tissues.(20) We also used our technology to generate mAbs that bind to various novel epitopes of podoplanin, including LpMab-3,(24) LpMab-12,(25) LpMab-19,(26) and LpMab-21.(27,28) Importantly, these mAbs are useful for Western blot, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemical analyses for podoplanin. Here, PDPN is linked to cancer.
