KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma: The seminal findings of this work are: (i) CBP501 inhibits NSCLC cell migration and invasion in vitro; (ii) many EMT-inducing factors can not reverse the suppression of migration by CBP501; (iii) CBP501 reduces expression of EMT-induced proteins with inhibition of the Akt phosphorylation;(iv) knockdown of KRas by shRNA negates inhibition of migration by CBP501; and (v) CBP501 inhibits the formation of a complex between CaM and KRas.
