Therefore, we have quantitatively analyzed and identified the TSP-1, TGF-β1, CTGF and VEGF (TTCV) functional module in the angiogenesis in RA synovium and then investigated the effect of As2O3 on human fibroblast-like synoviocytes of RA patients and normal human with the presence or absence of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) treatment, as well as on microvessel sprouting in aortic ring assay ex vivo and CIA mice in vivo, exploring anti-angiogenesis molecular mechanisms of As2O3. This evidence concerns the gene CCN2 and rheumatoid arthritis.
