In this study, we assessed the response rate and the long-term disease-free status of patients with localized HP-negative gastric MALT lymphoma (all negative for histology [including HP, atrophic gastritis, and intestinal metaplasia], rapid urease test, 13C urea breath test, and serology as well as for CagA expression in tumor cells and gastric microenvironments) who received first-line HPE regimens consisting of PPIs plus clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Here, S100A8 is linked to MALT lymphoma.
