The implication of Insulin secretion (ADCY2, ADCYAP1R1, ADCYAP1, ATP1A3, CAM2K2B, SNAP25, RAB3A, KCNJ1, PCLO, KCNMB2, ADCY8, GLP1R, GCK, ABCC8, SLC2A2) and Type I diabetes mellitus (GAD1, HLA-DRB1, HLA-DRB5, HLA-DQB1, HLA-C, HLA-DRA, HLA-A, HLA-DQA1, PTPRN2) pathways are interesting given recent data implicating A-T as a metabolic syndrome (Aird et al., 2015). Here, PTPRN2 is linked to metabolic syndrome.
