Thirty‐one (13.8%), however, had comorbidity that could influence their cardiological safety: nine hypertension treated with ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers, beta blockers, and diuretics in two, three, one, and three patients, respectively); two diabetes (one treated with long‐acting insulin and the other with sulfonylureas); and 20 Thyroid disorders (14 of whom were treated with levothyroxine). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and diabetes mellitus.
