NPPB and malnutrition: NT-proBNP (median [IQR]) concentrations were significantly higher when the number of malnutrition criteria was higher, for 0 criteria: 1858 [1143–2706] pg/mL, 1: 2276 [1092–4070] pg/mL, 2: 2676 [1045–7149] pg/mL, 3: 4025 [701–14340] pg/mL, and 4: 12289 [2507–23451] pg/mL (P < 0.001 for comparison of mean log NT-proBNP) (Figure 1).
