Additionally, when compared with cells treated with the miR-6743-5p inhibitor, the glioma cells treated with both the miR-6743-5p inhibitor and shGRIM-19 exhibited higher levels of p-STAT3 as well as mRNA levels of CyclinD1 and Bcl-2 (Figure 4B), indicating that miR-6743-5p may active STAT3 pathway by down-regulating GRIM-19.
