We also monitored viral DNA replication and expression levels of the major capsid protein (VP5), the most abundant tegument protein (UL47) [18], and the lytic transactivator protein (EP0) in neuronal cultures infected by either PRV 180 alone in N compartments (3 day or 10 day post infection-dpi), UVPRV alone in S compartments (3 dpi), or both of them simultaneously as we did in the complementation assay (3 dpi).
