In IQGAP3, high gene amplification was observed in breast cancer (20.7% in Metabric and 11.9% in TCGA dataset), lung adenocarcinoma (12.6%) and liver cancer (12.3%), whereas in brain, lung squamous cell carcinoma, prostate, kidney and stomach cancer, the frequency of copy number change was very low. This evidence concerns the gene IQGAP3 and gastric cancer.
