iASPP is an inhibitory member of the ASPP family, which has been reported to be overexpressed as an oncogene in several cancers, such as breast cancer and hepatocellular cancer.11, 12, 13 We have shown previously that iASPP was overexpressed in human NSCLC and that downregulation of iASPP inhibited the proliferation and colony formation of lung cancer cells by activating p53/p21/PUMA pathway in vitro. This evidence concerns the gene BBC3 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
