Patients were stratified by individual risk factors of N stage, serum ALB and SF, and the DMFS rates of patients with NPC at N2-3, serum ALB <42 g/L or SF > 300 μg/L were significantly lower than the corresponding patients without the specific risk (Figure 1, P < 0.001, P = 0.003 and P = 0.021, respectively). Here, ALB is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
