It has been recently reported that outcomes in HER2+ patients with early BC not receiving anti-HER2 therapy strongly depend on hormone-receptor expression: in line with our findings, hormone-receptor positive tumors had a slowly decreasing hazard compared to hormone-receptor negative tumors, which showed a higher and more quickly declining hazard of disease-recurrence during follow-up; at about 6 years from diagnosis, the two curves tended to cross [26].
