In the HCCLM3-control group, 9 mice develop lung metastasis; however, only 2 mice develop lung metastasis in the HCCLM3-Barx1 group (90% versus 20%, respectively), indicating that over-expression of Barx1 inhibits HCC metastasis (Figure 2F and 2I). This evidence concerns the gene BARX1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
