Zhang HY et al. found that the coexpression of Topo IIα and Ki-67 could be taken as the prediction indicator for the efficacy of chemotherapy using anthracyclines in the treatment of HER-2-positive breast carcinoma, i.e., breast cancer patients with positive Topo IIα and Ki-67 were more sensitive to chemotherapy and benefited more after chemotherapy.17 The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is breast carcinoma.
