CD47 is a cell surface glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that is often overexpressed in both hematological cancers (leukemia, lymphoma [10], and multiple myeloma) and solid cancers such as ovarian, small cell lung cancer, pancreatic, glioma, glioblastoma, pediatric brain tumors and other types of cancers [10,11]. This evidence concerns the gene CD47 and glioblastoma.
