As part of the 3q26 amplicon (Supplementary Fig. 1a), YEATS2 is highly amplified in a variety of human cancers, including lung squamous cell carcinoma (56% amplification frequency), ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (27%), and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (23%) (Fig. 1a). This evidence concerns the gene YEATS2 and ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma.
