YEATS2 and cancer: The growth inhibition by YEATS2 KD was also observed in additional NSCLC cell lines (A549, H520, and Ludlu-1) and ovarian cancer cell lines (CaoV3 and HeyA8) that also harbor YEATS2 amplification, as well as in the immortalized normal lung fibroblast cells (WI-38 and IMR-90) that do not have YEATS2 overexpression (Supplementary Fig. 2c–i), suggesting that YEATS2 is an essential gene for a broad range of cancer cell lines as well as non-cancerous cells.
