PCNA and peritonitis: Together, these data reflect impaired resolution of inflammation and tissue repair in murine peritonitis when treated with Ω-3− LEs as assessed by increased recruitment of PMN and classical monocytes, reduced non-classical monocytes and efferocytosis, reduced SPM biosynthesis, elongation of the resolution interval and reduced expression of PCNA compared with Ω-3+ LE-treated peritonitis mice.
