To investigate whether the increased expression of PTEN by RBM38 affected RBM38-induced growth suppression, RBM38 stable breast cancer cells BT474 and MDA-MB-453 that transfected with RBM38 and NC lentivirus were transfected with siRNA against PTEN (siPTEN-1, siPTEN-2) and the control (ctrl), followed by a colony formation assay. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and breast carcinoma.
