Interestingly, expression of HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C had a significant negative correlation with CIN scores in tumors with amplified genes or deleted genes (Fig. 7c), suggesting that some of the copy number-altered genes might be involved in the suppression of antigen presentation in cancer cells either alone or in combination with other genes. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-A and cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
