The FDA-approved pan-HDAC inhibitor vorinostat (suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid, SAHA) and class I HDAC inhibitor romidepsin (depsipeptide, FK228) have been remarkably effective in the treatment of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL) and other hematological malignancies [14-19]. This evidence concerns the gene HDAC9 and primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
