With all five tumor markers in a multivariable cox regression analyzing the markers’ impact on DFS, CA 19.9 (HR = 3.3 95% CI = 1.2–9.4 p = 0.02 and when NSE was excluded: HR = 2.5 95%CI 1.0–6.3 p = 0.048) and CA 125 (HR = 6.1 95% CI = 2.4–15.6 p<0.001 and when NSE was excluded: HR = 3.0 95% CI 1.3–6.9 p = 0.008) remained as the tumor markers associated with higher incidence of recurrent disease. This evidence concerns the gene ENO2 and neoplasm.
