A look up in the GO [51] and KEGG [53] databases showed that the 192 genes annotated to the 302 hit CpGs from the EWAS of current asthma at 7.5 years adjusted for basic cells were located in pathways related to movement of cellular or subcellular components, locomotion, interleukin-4 production and eosinophil migration. The gene discussed is IL4; the disease is asthma.
