By flow cytometry, cell-cycle profiles following miR-574-5p knockdown showed that suppression of miR-574-5p led to an increase in the number of cells in the S-phase and the G2-phase (Fig. 7a), which indicated that miR-574-5p suppression led to an opposite effect on SCLC cell cycle with HOTTIP knockdown. The gene discussed is HOTTIP; the disease is small cell lung carcinoma.
