As shown in Figure 5, SB-747651A treatment did not enhance neutrophil emigration at 1–2 h after CXCL2 treatment but significantly increased the number of emigrated neutrophils in the peritoneal lavage fluid following 3 and 4 h of CXCL2 injection, indicating that SB-747651A treatment affects neutrophil extravasation by increasing neutrophil emigration only at 3 and 4 h in mouse peritonitis model of acute inflammation. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL2 and peritonitis.
