In the present study, we found that EAT SFRP4 expression significantly increased in CAD patients compared to non-CAD patients, although EAT SFRP4 expression was lower than SAT SFRP4 expression both in patients with and without CAD, suggesting that the increase in circulating SFRP4 can be partially accounted for by the high expression of EAT SFRP4 in CAD patients. This evidence concerns the gene SFRP4 and coronary artery disorder.
