This study here revealed that forced expression of EDG2 promoted migration and invasion capacities of HCC cells and leaded to repression of E-cadherin and enhanced expression of N-cadherin Vimentin, and Fibronectin, while knockdown of EDG2 brought about the opposite results, which illustrated strongly that EDG2 elicited EMT of HCC cells. This evidence concerns the gene VIM and hepatocellular carcinoma.
