This study here revealed that forced expression of EDG2 promoted migration and invasion capacities of HCC cells and leaded to repression of E-cadherin and enhanced expression of N-cadherin Vimentin, and Fibronectin, while knockdown of EDG2 brought about the opposite results, which illustrated strongly that EDG2 elicited EMT of HCC cells. The gene discussed is CDH2; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
